MUSICORE Symphony Orchestra creates performance opportunities where students and community musicians use their art for service.

Our orchestra and small ensembles perform at community centers, schools, senior homes, nonprofit events, and outreach programs.
The MUSICORE Symphony Orchestra welcomes advanced musicians from 8th grade through college, as well as community musicians who want to rehearse seriously and perform in service of Miami. Members collaborate across strings, winds, brass, percussion, and chamber groups while preparing music for concerts and community outreach.
Students gain ensemble experience, leadership, rehearsal discipline, and service hours while building a musical community that reaches beyond the concert hall.

MUSICORE welcomes original compositions and arrangements that can be brought to life by the Symphony Orchestra or one of our chamber ensembles.
Submissions may be written for full ensemble, concert band, marching band, flute choir, clarinet choir, saxophone choir, brass choir, woodwind choir, percussion ensemble, duets, trios, quartets, or soloist with ensemble.
Pieces that include piano, strings, voice, or electronic elements are welcome too, though they may require extra planning based on available instrumentation, equipment, and rehearsal time.

Rehearsals
MUSICORE Symphony Orchestra rehearsals take place every Tuesday from 5:00pm-7:00pm in WPAC 157, the Instrumental Hall. Please check the Band App on the day of rehearsal for the latest updates.
Concerts
All concerts are held in WPAC 150, the Concert Hall, unless MUSICORE announces a special outreach location or community performance venue.
