Education Branch

MUSICORE's education branch connects capable high school and college musicians with younger students who need free, accessible music support.

Holy Rosary Summer Camp

3... 2... 1... Lights, camera, action!

Our final concert was a hit, and it could not have happened without the parents, families, teachers, and camp community at Holy Rosary St. Richard's School who supported these young musicians every step of the way.

Special thanks to our sponsor @lifted_in_light for helping bring the stage to life with beautiful decorations and to Holy Rosary St. Richard's School for opening its doors to MUSICORE.

MUSICORE students at Holy Rosary summer camp

Free, hands-on music learning for young students.

MUSICORE works with students in grades 2-8 through school partnerships, community programs, and beginner-friendly learning experiences led by trained student volunteers.

Instrument Demonstrations

We introduce young students to strings, winds, brass, percussion, and ensemble playing through live demonstrations. Students hear the instruments up close, ask questions, and begin connecting sound, rhythm, posture, and teamwork to real musical experiences.

Beginner Support

We help students build fundamentals step by step: reading basic notation, keeping steady rhythm, listening across an ensemble, caring for instruments, and practicing with confidence. Our volunteers make early music learning feel welcoming instead of intimidating.

School Partnerships

We partner with schools, camps, and community programs to bring music support directly to students. MUSICORE can help with workshops, demonstrations, small-group mentoring, performance preparation, and outreach events shaped around each partner's needs.

We bring music where students already are.

Our education branch is built around access. Instead of waiting for families to find private lessons or expensive programs, MUSICORE brings volunteers, instruments, and music activities into schools and community spaces.

We design sessions that are practical and encouraging: students try instruments, learn ensemble habits, rehearse simple music, and see near-peer mentors who prove that growth is possible. Each visit is meant to spark curiosity while giving students a clear next step into continued learning.
